Our Principal

We are committed to nurturing and challenging our students in an atmosphere that inspires creativity and independent thinking in all areas of life and does not, overtly, or subtly, use competition or punishment to motivate through the fear of failure.

Vision & Values

Our motto 鈥楧eeds Count鈥� is underpinned by the six Values developed in conjunction with our student body. Pursuit of Excellence, Integrity, Creativity, Respect for Diversity, Social and Environmental Responsibility, and Individuality.

Our History

Most of the history provided here is from 鈥溙烀来� a State Secondary College鈥�, a publication produced to commemorate the school鈥檚 40th anniversary providing a history compiled by Greg Thomas and many others. Other excerpts have been taken from, 鈥溙烀来�, A History, 1926-1978鈥� compiled by Max Balchin.

Junior School
(Year 7).

In Junior School, the curriculum is designed not only to ensure that students have strong foundations in key knowledge across all areas, but also to ensure that the process of transition from primary to secondary school is a success.

Here at 天美传媒, we are aware that student wellbeing is the foundation of all teaching and learning. If students feel emotionally regulated, their mind and body will be at ease and learning will happen more readily. Our Student Services team have the experience and dedication to work across a range of adolescent presenting issues.
